Francesca Buller

Francesca Buller is an English actress born on 20 January 1964. She trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, where she met actor Ben Browder, whom she later married. Browder is known for playing John Crichton in the television series Farscape and Cameron Mitchell in Stargate SG-1.

Buller's stage work includes productions of Hamlet and The Merchant of Venice. Her Broadway appearance came in 1989, when she performed in The Merchant of Venice.

Her screen career spans film and television across multiple decades. Early television credits include She's Been Away (1989), Fever (1991), Deceived (1991), Those Secrets (1992), and Kiss of a Killer (1993). On the film side, she appeared in Chaplin (1992) as Minnie Chaplin and in Heatstroke (2008) as Dr. Taggert. Her television work also includes a guest appearance on Father Dowling Mysteries, playing Gloria in the episode "The Royal Mystery" in September 1990.

Buller is perhaps most widely recognized for her recurring presence in the science fiction series Farscape, where she portrayed multiple distinct characters. These included M'Lee, ro-NA, Raxil, and most prominently War Minister Ahkna, a role she reprised across several episodes in the fourth season and in the television film Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars (2004). Her performance as Minister Ahkna in the episode "Bad Timing" earned her a nomination for Best Special Guest Television at the SyFy Genre Awards.
