Frederica "Faire" Binney was an American stage and film actress born on August 24, 1900, in Morristown, New Jersey, the daughter of lawyer Horace Binney and Gertrude Miles Binney. She received her education at private schools in Concord, Massachusetts. Binney died on August 28, 1957.

Her screen career began in 1918 when she appeared alongside her sister Constance Binney in Sporting Life. That same year she appeared in Woman, and she continued working steadily in silent films through the early 1920s, with credits including Here Comes the Bride, Open Your Eyes, The Wonder Man, The Blue Pearl, Madonnas and Men, The Girl from Porcupine, A Man's Home, Frontier of the Stars, A Wide Open Town, and What Fools Men Are. Her silent film work continued through the mid-1920s with Loyal Lives, Second Youth, The Man Without a Heart, The Speed Spook, The Lost Chord, and False Pride. In the early 1950s she returned to film in small, uncredited roles, appearing in Three Guys Named Mike, Monkey Business, and Dream Wife.

Binney's stage career spanned Broadway from 1920 to 1947. Her Broadway credits included the play The Teaser, the play He and She, and the musical The Dream Girl. In October 1922, she married David Carleton Sloane at her mother's house in New York.
