Ethelind Terry (August 14, 1899 – March 17, 1984) was an American actress who worked in both stage and film. Her Broadway career spanned from 1920 to 1930, during which she appeared in a range of musicals and plays.
Terry made her Broadway debut in the play Honeydew, which premiered on September 6, 1920. She went on to appear in the musical Kid Boots, which opened on December 31, 1923, and the musical For Goodness Sake. Her most prominent stage role came in Rio Rita, a musical produced by Florenz Ziegfeld that premiered on February 2, 1927. Her final Broadway credit was the musical Nina Rosa, which opened on September 20, 1930.
Alongside her stage work, Terry appeared in several films. In 1923 she was featured in a Pathé film of C. B. Cochran's London production of Music Box Revue, performing alongside Renie Riano. She appeared in the 1930 film Lord Byron of Broadway, as well as the 1933 short Nertsery Rhymes: The Woman in the Shoe and the 1937 film Arizona Days.
Terry married Benedict Bogeaus in 1928; the marriage ended in divorce in 1931. She later eloped to Las Vegas with actor Dick Purcell, and the two were married on March 3, 1942. That marriage also ended in divorce, on August 26, 1942.
