Ellen Marlow

Ellen Taylor Marlow is an American actress born on February 22, 1994, in Dallas, Texas. She moved to Austin, Texas at age three, and later relocated to New York City in 2005 to make her Broadway debut. From 2007 through 2015 she lived in the Los Angeles area before returning to New York City, where she also maintains a residence in Austin.

Marlow's Broadway career began at age ten when she originated the lead role of Jemima Potts in the Tony-nominated musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. She was selected for the role from an open casting call that drew approximately 3,000 young performers. In support of the production, she made public singing appearances including a performance on The Today Show, and performed the National Anthem at sporting events in both Texas and New York. She also appeared in a New York staged reading of Zhivago, directed by Des McAnuff, in the role of Katarina. In January 2020, Marlow joined the Broadway cast of Disney's Frozen.

Before her Broadway debut, Marlow performed in regional theatre productions of Grease, in which she played Sandy, as well as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and The Wizard of Oz. From 2016 through 2017, she performed in the touring company of Kinky Boots, appearing across North America and Japan.

On film, Marlow portrayed Claire Lyons in the Warner Premiere release The Clique, based on the New York Times bestselling book series by Lisi Harrison, which was released in fall 2008. That same year, she played the young Fiona in Quid Pro Quo, which debuted at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival. Her television credits include an appearance in the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced ABC pilot The Forgotten, starring Christian Slater, as well as episodes of Cold Case, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and Criminal Minds.
