Elena Kampouris

Elena Kampouris is an American actress born on September 16, 1997, in New York City. She grew up in Bridgewater Township, New Jersey, where her father, Alexander Kampouris, a native of Kasos, Greece, operates a wine store in nearby Basking Ridge. Her mother, Ivey Barry, is an American fashion illustrator, and Kampouris has English and French ancestry through her. Her grandfather, Emmanuel Kampouris, served as CEO of American Standard Companies. She has an older brother, also named Emmanuel. Kampouris attended Gill St. Bernard's School before transitioning to private tutoring for the remainder of her high school education.

Kampouris began her acting career in 2012 with a guest appearance as a Constance Girl in a single episode of the CW series Gossip Girl. The following year she appeared in the Nickelodeon television film Jinxed, playing Ivy Murray, and made her feature film debut in the drama Labor Day as a young Rachel McCann. In December 2013, she signed with the William Morris Endeavor talent agency. Her profile rose in 2014 when she was cast as Allison Doss in the comedy-drama film Men, Women & Children, and she also appeared as Alexia in The Cobbler that same year.

In 2015, Kampouris took on the recurring role of Maya Decker, daughter of Peter Facinelli's character, in the NBC thriller series American Odyssey. The show was cancelled after one season. She subsequently joined the My Big Fat Greek Wedding franchise as Paris Miller, a role she first played in the 2016 sequel My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 and reprised in the 2023 installment My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3. In 2017, she appeared as Juliet Sykes in the drama film Before I Fall, and in 2021 she starred as Chloe Sampson in the Netflix superhero series Jupiter's Legacy, having been cast in the role as announced on February 11, 2019.

Kampouris made her Broadway debut in 2016 in a revival of Les Liaisons Dangereuses, portraying Cécile Volanges, a wealthy and naive teenager. The production marked her sole Broadway credit to date.
