Edward Staudenmayer is an American actor and singer whose Broadway career has spanned from 1999 to 2026, encompassing productions including Anything Goes, Wonderland, The Phantom of the Opera, The Great Gatsby, and Anastasia. Born and raised in California, Staudenmayer participated in his high school's theater program, where he performed in The Music Man. He went on to study musical theater at the University of California, Los Angeles on a scholarship, and during his time there received the Carol Burnett Award.

Staudenmayer entered the professional theater world with his Off-Broadway debut in the 1998 production of Forbidden Broadway Cleans Up Its Act, and he can be heard on the original cast recording released the following year. Also in 1999, he appeared in the Off-Broadway production of Exactly Like You, playing the role of Kevin Bursteter. His Broadway debut came in 2006, when he joined Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me as an understudy. In 2011, he returned to Broadway in the musical Wonderland, where he played the White Rabbit.

Staudenmayer's national tour work has included several prominent roles. In 2013, he joined the national tour of The Phantom of the Opera as Monsieur Gilles André, a character he had identified as his favorite when he first saw the musical in junior high. He remained with the tour for two and a half years before taking a brief hiatus, then returned to reprise the role. He subsequently played Vlad in the first national tour of Anastasia, beginning his run in 2018. That tour's remaining performances were cancelled in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. His stage work also includes the Broadway productions of The Great Gatsby, in which he played Meyer Wolfsheim, and Anything Goes.
