Edward Baker-Duly is a British actor born in Stockholm, Sweden, to British and Swedish parents. He has lived in the United Kingdom, Ethiopia, and South Africa, and has resided in New York City since 2013 with his wife Caroline and their two children, Miles and Iris.

Baker-Duly built an extensive career in British television before transitioning to stage work. He portrayed Joe Fisher, the Australian partner of gay builder Jason Kirk, in the ITV1 soap opera Emmerdale, and later joined the long-running BBC school drama Grange Hill from 2003 to 2006, playing sports master Chris Malachay. His film work includes Botched, filmed alongside Stephen Dorff in 2006. He appeared as entrepreneur Hermann Hauser in the BBC comedy drama Micro Men, and in December 2010 took on the role of Joachim von Ribbentrop in the BBC Wales and Masterpiece co-production Upstairs, Downstairs. In 2016, he appeared in the first season finale of the Showtime series Billions, and in 2021 joined the cast of Hollyoaks as Clarke.

His stage career spans productions on both sides of the Atlantic. In the West End, he originated the role of Ashley Wilkes in Trevor Nunn's 2008 musical adaptation of Gone With the Wind, and appeared in South Pacific, also directed by Nunn, as well as in West Side Story under the direction of Arthur Laurents. He performed in Rookery Nook at the Menier Chocolate Factory. In 2011, he created the role of Hickory and the Tin Man in Andrew Lloyd Webber's production of The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium.

Following his move to New York City, Baker-Duly appeared in the Off-Broadway production of Peter and the Starcatcher in 2013. He made his Broadway debut in 2015 in The King and I. In 2019, he played the title role in the UK tour of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical. In 2023, he played military policeman Calloway in a musical theatre adaptation of The Third Man in London. In 2024, he originated the role of Max in the world premiere of Here & Now, a jukebox musical built around the songs of Steps, which opened at The Alexandra in Birmingham before a UK and Ireland tour scheduled to begin in August 2025.
