Dov Tiefenbach

Dov Yosef Tiefenbach, born December 8, 1981, in Toronto, Ontario, is a Canadian actor and musician of Jewish heritage. He made his Broadway debut in 1996 in A Thousand Clowns, appearing alongside actor Judd Hirsch in the lead role of Nick Burns.

Tiefenbach began pursuing acting at age 12, first appearing in commercials before taking on the role of Josh Avery in the television series RoboCop in 1994. His first starring role came the following year in the 1995 short film Love Child, in which he played Murray Murray opposite actress Neve Campbell. The Broadway production of A Thousand Clowns followed shortly after, marking a significant early milestone in his career.

Following his return to Toronto after the Broadway run, Tiefenbach continued building his film career, taking on lead roles in Little Men and Cheaters. His performance in the 2002 film Flower & Garnet earned him a Leo Award for Best Supporting Male Performance in 2003.

Subsequent screen work included the role of Bradley Thomas, a hippie drug dealer, in the 2004 comedy Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle, the character Adrian in the 2005 psychological thriller The Dark Hours, and Lucky Carroway, a reclusive writer, in the 2006 television series This Space for Rent.

Prior to relocating to Los Angeles, Tiefenbach served as frontman for a Toronto-based band called Theresa's Sound-World, which he described as playing "dirty indie pop." The band took its name from a Sonic Youth song.
