Dorothy Allen (October 23, 1896 – September 30, 1970) was an American actress born in Houston, Texas. Her career spanned stage and screen, with work documented as early as 1904 on Broadway and extending through the mid-1920s in film.

Allen appeared on Broadway in 1904 in the musical My Lady. Her screen career began in 1918, and she went on to work in a number of Poverty Row productions through 1925. Among her film appearances was a role in the 1920 feature Over the Hill to the Poorhouse, as well as the part of Miranda Means in the 1924 production The Hoosier Schoolmaster. Her filmography also includes Three Green Eyes (1919), Beyond Price (1921), Dynamite Allen (1921), The Power Within (1921), The Broken Silence (1922), Free Air (1922), If Winter Comes (1923), Second Youth (1924), Youth for Sale (1924), and School for Wives (1925). The bulk of her screen activity was concentrated in the 1920s.

Allen died on September 30, 1970, in New York City.
