Donnie R. Keshawarz

Donnie R. Keshawarz is a Canadian-born American actor working in stage, film, and television. He was born on July 30, 1969, in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, to Afghan parents, and later relocated to Jonesboro, Arkansas, where he attended Jonesboro High School. Keshawarz pursued higher education at Rutgers University, earning a bachelor's degree, and subsequently completed a master's degree at the University of Missouri–Kansas City. He also trained in acting under Herbert Berghof.

Keshawarz made his Broadway debut in 2006 in Tarzan, the stage musical adaptation produced on Broadway that year. His professional acting career began as early as 1987, and over the decades he has accumulated an extensive range of television credits. Among his most notable television work is a recurring role as Yusuf Auda on the Fox series 24, which he played in 2003, as well as a recurring role on the HBO drama The Sopranos. He has made guest appearances on a number of additional series, including Law & Order, Lost, Sex and the City, Hack, Blue Bloods, and Homeland. Keshawarz also held a starring role in the ABC series Forever.

His film work includes Loving Leah (2009), The Adjustment Bureau (2011), Experimenter (2015), and Ad Astra (2019). In 2013, he made a brief appearance in The Wolf of Wall Street.
