Donald Corren

Donald T. Corren, born June 5, 1952, is an American actor and screenwriter whose work spans Broadway, film, and television. He received his training at Juilliard.

Corren's Broadway career extended from 1982 to 2005 and included two notable productions. He starred in Torch Song Trilogy, a role that earned him recognition from both the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle and the San Francisco Drama Critics Circle during the production's tour. In 2005, he originated the role of Cosmé McMoon in Souvenir, appearing opposite Judy Kaye, who portrayed Florence Foster Jenkins, in the Broadway production.

Beyond Broadway, Corren built a substantial Off Broadway résumé that included The Last Sunday in June, Saturday Night, and Tom Foolery.

His television work includes nine seasons on NBC's Law & Order, where he played the recurring character Medill. He also appeared on Rescue Me, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and Law & Order: Trial by Jury.

Corren has worked as a screenwriter for television and corporate clients. His writing credits include Martha Stewart's early weekly television programs and material for the 2002 Winter Olympics held in Salt Lake City, Utah.
