Don Mirault is an American actor, dancer, and entrepreneur whose career spans Broadway, television, film, and the Las Vegas entertainment industry. He made his Broadway debut in 1975, appearing in A Chorus Line in the role of Zach, and also performed in Bob Fosse's Chicago. His stage work extended to Las Vegas, where he performed the lead adagio in the Folies Bergere.
Mirault's television career includes guest appearances across several decades. In 1984 he appeared in the Automan episode "Zippers," playing Robin Hood alongside Robert Lansing and John Vernon. He recurred on The Golden Girls across two episodes in 1991 and 1992, playing Ron in "Journey to the Center of Attention" and a skydiving instructor in "The Bloom Is Off the Rose," sharing the screen with Mitchell Ryan, Kevin Brief, and Warren Munson. In 1990 he portrayed the Coalition leader Hayne in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Legacy," and that same year appeared as a reporter in the Knots Landing episode "If I Die Before I Wake." A 1994 guest role on Saved by the Bell: The College Years cast him as a skydiving instructor. He appeared in the One World episode "One of Our Own" in 2000 as a father, and that same year played Don the Sweeper in The Pretender episode "Meltdown," alongside Barbara Babcock and Melinda Clarke. In 2002 he portrayed Ken Murdock in the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode "The Accused Is Entitled," appearing alongside Michael Buchman Silver and Michael Ensign.
His film credits include Top of the World, released in 1997 and also known as Cold Cash and Showdown, in which he played Surveillance Technician #1 alongside Peter Weller, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Ed Lauter, and Maria R. Kelly. He later appeared as Griffin in Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous in 2005, a cast that included William Shatner, Diedrich Bader, Faith Minton, and Darlene Williams. An earlier film credit, Secret Places from 1996, featured him in the role of Howard.
Beyond performing, Mirault has built a career in dance education and corporate communications. He has worked across dance disciplines ranging from cruise lines to MTV and is the creator of Virtualdanceclass.com, a platform giving teachers access to class combinations from professional and studio instructors. He produced three instructional videos: Lifts...For Your Choreography, Lifts...For Kids, and Advanced Lifts and Partner Work. He conducts adagio classes nationally, with a focus on training male dancers and partners, and serves as a keynote speaker at colleges and universities on the business of dance and professional development for dancers and teachers.
Mirault is the sole proprietor of Rafter Publishing, through which he has written, edited, and distributed books. He wrote, cast, and trained presenters for the Lion Habitat at the MGM Grand Las Vegas, and has authored corporate presentations for numerous Fortune 500 companies. Proficient with ear prompters and teleprompters, he has worked as a spokesperson for Fortune 500 companies, game shows, and special events.
