Donald L. Hanmer (October 17, 1919 – May 24, 2003) was an American stage and film actor whose Broadway career spanned from 1943 to 1956. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Hanmer trained at the Goodman School of Acting in Chicago on a scholarship for three years before graduating from the Actors Studio. He also served in the U.S. Army.

Hanmer's Broadway work encompassed a range of productions, beginning with Winged Victory in 1943 and continuing with Yellow Jack in 1944. He appeared in Galileo in 1947, followed by Sundown Beach in 1948, My Name Is Aquilon in 1949, The Man in 1950, The Manxman, and The Ponder Heart in 1956. His performance in the Actors Studio production of Sundown Beach earned him a Donaldson Award in 1948, and he received a Theatre World Award in 1950.

Beyond the stage, Hanmer appeared in approximately 90 films between 1945 and 1991. His television work included a 1966 appearance as a barber in the episode "Gunfighter, RIP" (Season 12, Episode 6) of the Western series Gunsmoke, and a 1968 role as liquor store owner Martin Bramer in the Adam-12 episode "And You Want Me to Get Married!" (Season 1, Episode 6).

Hanmer was first married to actress Jocelyn Brando and later to Susan Tucker Huntington. He died on May 24, 2003, in Monterey, California, from cancer at the age of 83.
