Denton Vane (1890–September 17, 1940) was an American actor whose career spanned both stage and screen. Born in 1890, Vane worked during a period that encompassed the silent film era and the active Broadway theater scene of the 1920s.
On screen, Vane established himself as a film actor during the silent era, appearing in multiple productions made by Vitagraph Studios. His silent film work is documented in Alan Goble's The Complete Index to Literary Sources in Film, published by Walter de Gruyter in 1999.
Vane also pursued a career on the stage, appearing on Broadway in 1927. His Broadway credits include the play Excess Baggage. He died on September 17, 1940.
