Born David Thomas Jones on December 30, 1945, in Openshaw, Manchester, Lancashire, England, Davy Jones first appeared on television in the British soap opera "Coronation Street" before being cast in "Oliver!" on the West End. From 1966 to 1971, he was a member of the pop-rock group the Monkees. He trained as a jockey. His first marriage, to Linda Haines, produced two daughters, Talia Jones and Sarah McFadden. With his second wife, Anita Pollinger, he had two more daughters, Jessica Cramar and Annabel Jones. He is survived by his third wife, Jessica Pacheco, his children, three sisters, and grandchildren. Film credits include "The Brady Bunch Movie," "Head," "Sexina," "Mayor of the Sunset Strip," "Oliver Twist," and "Mary Marie." Among his television credits are "Boy Meets World," "SpongeBob SquarePants," "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch," "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In," "Coronation Street," "My Two Dads," and "Hey Arnold!."
