David Furr is an American actor working in theatre, film, and television, with a Broadway career spanning from 2004 to 2019. A native of Greensboro, North Carolina, he studied theater at Appalachian State University, where he graduated in 1994.
Furr's Broadway credits include Burn This, Noises Off, The Importance of Being Oscar, Accent on Youth, and Cymbeline, among other productions. His performance in Roundabout Theatre Company's Broadway revival of Noises Off earned him a Tony Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Play in 2016, as well as a Drama Desk Award nomination for Outstanding Featured Actor in a Play that same year.
Beyond the stage, Furr has worked in television, including a role as part of the cast of HBO's The Gilded Age, for which he received a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination alongside his fellow cast members.
