David Aaron Baker is an American actor born on August 14, 1963, in Durham, North Carolina, whose career spans Broadway, film, television, and audiobook narration.

Baker's stage work includes a range of Broadway productions between 1993 and 2010. Among his most prominent credits is the 1996 Tony-nominated revival of Once Upon a Mattress, in which he played Prince Dauntless opposite Sarah Jessica Parker. He later joined the cast of the 2004 revival of Lorraine Hansberry's A Raisin in the Sun, a production that also featured Phylicia Rashad, Audra McDonald, Sanaa Lathan, and Sean Combs. Additional Broadway appearances include White Liars, The Flowering Peach, The School for Husbands, and The Merchant of Venice. Beyond Broadway, Baker performed the role of Jimmy Curry in New York City Opera's 1992 production of 110 in the Shade at Lincoln Center's New York State Theater, and returned to that same stage in 2018 as the MajorDomo in Fanfare, part of the New York City Ballet's Jerome Robbins 100 Festival.

His film work includes a role in Woody Allen's Melinda and Melinda, as well as appearances in The Tao of Steve (2000), The Music Man (2003), Molly: An American Girl on the Home Front (2006), And So It Goes (2014), The Purge: Election Year (2016), Boarding School (2018), and Asleep in My Palm (2023). On television, Baker has appeared in Sex and the City, Criminal Minds, Blue Bloods, Boardwalk Empire — in which he recurred as Bill Fallon across six episodes between 2010 and 2011 — The Society, and Prodigal Son, among other series.

Baker has also worked extensively in audio. He narrates Dean Koontz's Odd Thomas character on audiobook and voices a role in QCode's fiction podcast Listening In, starring Rachel Brosnahan.
