Danton Stone is an American stage, film, and television actor born in Queens, New York, whose Broadway career spans from 1980 to 2001.
Stone made his Broadway debut in 1980 in Fifth of July, playing Weston Hurley. Three years later he returned to Broadway in Angels Fall as Don Tabaha. His third Broadway credit came in 2001 with One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, in which he played Martini, a production he had also performed with the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in 2000. The Exonerated is an additional Broadway credit from his verified stage record. His off-Broadway work includes Mrs. Murray's Farm in 1976, Balm in Gilead in 1984, In This Fallen City in 1986, Fortune's Fools in 1995, and Mere Mortals and Others in 1997. The 1984 production of Balm in Gilead earned Stone a Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Ensemble Acting. His regional stage work includes Miss Julie at the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in 1985.

His television work dates to 1979, when he appeared in Eischied as Eduardo Avila. He reprised his stage role of Weston Hurley for an American Playhouse television adaptation of The Fifth of July in 1982. Among his recurring television roles, he played Jerry Bowman on Roseanne from 1991 to 1992, Neil Chase on My So-Called Life across episodes in 1995 and 1996, D.A. Pat Fortunato on Oz from 1998 to 2000, and Brownie on The Tom Show from 1997 to 1998.
