Danielle Polanco

Danielle Polanco is an American dancer, choreographer, and actress whose career spans film, television, music videos, and Broadway. A member of the House of Ninja, Polanco is also recognized as a voguer within that community.

Polanco gained wide recognition through her work in film and music. She portrayed Missy Serrano in the 2008 feature Step Up 2: The Streets and appeared as the leading lady in Omarion's music video for "Touch." Her screen work extended to dozens of music video appearances for artists including Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Janet Jackson, Usher, Amerie, Bruno Mars, and Kat DeLuna, beginning as early as 2003.

Alongside her performance work, Polanco built a substantial choreography career. She has created choreography for Janet Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, and Beyoncé. Her choreography credits for Beyoncé include "Get Me Bodied," "Suga Mama," "Run The World (Girls)," "Countdown," and "Partition." For Jennifer Lopez, she choreographed "Fresh Out the Oven" and "Good Hit." Additional choreography credits include Janet Jackson's "Made For Now" featuring Daddy Yankee, Daddy Yankee's "Limbo," Jolin Tsai's "I'm Not Yours," Jason Derulo's "Let's Shut Up and Dance," Addison Rae's "Aquamarine," and Karol G's "Papasito."

On Broadway, Polanco appeared in the 2009 revival of West Side Story, playing the role of Consuela, one of the Shark girls.
