Curtis Cregan

Curtis John Cregan, born January 18, 1977, in Lititz, Pennsylvania, is an American former actor, singer, and dancer who later became a salesman. He grew up in Okemos, Michigan, where he attended Okemos High School and studied under choral director Frank K. DeWald. He subsequently enrolled at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.

Cregan's first professional performing engagement was as an emcee for the Nickelodeon show at Kings Island. Following his studies, he made his Broadway debut in 1997 in Rent. His stage work also included the roles of Doody in Grease, Dickon in The Secret Garden, and a member of the Von Trapp Family in The Sound of Music.

In 2003, Cregan joined the American version of the Australian children's television series Hi-5, a role he held until the show's cancellation in 2006. His segment on the program, titled "Making Music," focused on the fundamentals of music and the construction of musical instruments from everyday objects. He also provided the voice of Jup-Jup, a mischief-making friend of the character played by Kimee Balmilero. His role in the American version paralleled those of Tim Harding, Tim Maddren, and Joe Kalou in the original Australian series. Following the show's end, Cregan retired from acting.

Since 2009, Cregan has worked as a salesman for various companies. He married Broadway actress Jenn Gambatese on June 30, 2007. The couple has two daughters, Josephine, born in 2009, and Charlie, born in 2017.
