Courtney Peldon

Courtney Peldon is an American actress born in New York, New York, on April 13 or April 18, 1981. She began her professional career at age eight when she was cast in the Broadway production of Meet Me in St. Louis in 1989, playing Tootie for the show's entire run.

Peldon became widely recognized on television through her recurring role as Lauren, the on-screen girlfriend of Jonathan Taylor Thomas's character, on Home Improvement, a part she held for three seasons. She also spent three seasons as a cast member on Boston Public. Her television work spans numerous additional series, including That '70s Show, Entourage, The Pretender, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Renegade, and Nash Bridges.

Her film appearances include Out on a Limb, Little Giants, Say It Isn't So, National Lampoon's Adam & Eve, Tobe Hooper's Mortuary, the indie production Skin Walker, the science fiction thriller InAlienable, and the action-fantasy film Road to Hell.

Over a nine-year span, Peldon received Young Artist Award recognition each year, earning wins and nominations across multiple categories. Her wins include Best Young Actress Co-starring in a Motion Picture for Out on a Limb in 1993, Best Youth Actress Guest Starring in a Television Show for Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman in 1994, and Best Performance in a TV Comedy by a Guest Starring Young Performer for Home Improvement in 1997, the last of which she shared with Seth Adkins for Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. Her nominations during that period recognized her work on Harry and the Hendersons, The Mommies, Renegade, Home Improvement, Little Girls in Pretty Boxes, and The Princess & the Barrio Boy.
