About

Collette Lyons (October 3, 1908 – October 5, 1986) was an American actress whose career spanned stage, film, and television. Her Broadway work extended from 1939 to 1943, during which she appeared in productions including the revue George White's Scandals and the musical Artists and Models, the latter staged in 1943.

Beyond the stage, Lyons pursued work in film and television throughout her career. Her life off stage included two marriages. On December 26, 1942, she wed Alan Dinehart Jr. in Brooklyn; that marriage was annulled in April 1950. Lyons subsequently married George Randolph Hearst on March 6, 1952, in Hollywood, California, a ceremony that followed an earlier nuptial the couple had held in Mexico in October 1951. She obtained a divorce from Hearst in Santa Monica, California, in 1958.
