Claire Lautier

Claire Lautier is an American actress and consultant born on December 31, 1969, in Pensacola, Florida. She attended Gulf Breeze High School, where she participated in the drama program under the mentorship of Margie Timmons. She went on to study at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, double majoring in French and Drama and earning a Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude.

Lautier's stage work includes a Broadway appearance in 2001 in the play Hedda Gabler. She also performed in a production of Cyrano de Bergerac at the Lincoln Center, where she met Welsh actor Geraint Wyn Davies, whom she later married.

Her screen credits include the film Elf, in which she portrayed news anchor Charlotte Dennon, as well as roles in Confessions of a Shopaholic and Margarita. Beyond acting, Lautier has spoken about a period early in her career marked by shame, anxiety, negative self-talk, and low self-esteem, which she has described as prompting a seven-year spiritual journey. She hosts a podcast called the Grace Space and has worked alongside Karta Satyavrati Singh and Mary Morrissey. Lautier currently resides in France, where she operates her own yoga studio.
