In film, Galvani worked with director Carmine Gallone on a number of productions. His screen credits include La storia di un peccato (1918), Nemesis (1920), and The Ship (1921). He continued his film career into the following decade with The Fiery Cavalcade (1925), The Last Adventure (1932), and King of Diamonds (1936). Among his later film appearances was Scipio Africanus: The Defeat of Hannibal (1937).
