Catherine Calhoun Doucet, born Catherine Green on June 20, 1875, in Richmond, Virginia, was an American actress whose career spanned stage and screen across five decades. She died on June 24, 1958.
Doucet's Broadway career extended from 1906 to 1945, beginning with Brown of Harvard and concluding with Oh, Brother! Among her stage credits were Cold Feet, The Camel Through the Needle's Eye, Ladies Leave, Whatever Possessed Her, and Miss Lulu Bett, along with numerous other productions over the course of her nearly forty-year presence on the New York stage.
In addition to her theatrical work, Doucet appeared in more than thirty films between 1915 and 1954, making her screen debut in As Husbands Go.
Her personal life included a fourteen-year marriage to Paul Doucet, a prominent actor of French extraction, which lasted until his death in 1928.
