Casey Morton Cott, born August 8, 1992, in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, is an American actor best known for his television and stage work. He is the middle child of Rick Cott, an investment manager and former Air Force fighter pilot, and Lori Cott, née Morton. His older brother, Corey Cott, is also an actor, and he has a younger sister. Cott graduated from Chagrin Falls High School before enrolling at Boston University, where he studied for two years prior to transferring to the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama to pursue acting. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon in 2016.

Cott's early performance experience came through local Ohio theater, where he appeared in productions including Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson and Romeo and Juliet. After relocating to Pittsburgh for his studies, he participated in regional theater alongside his university work. In 2014, he appeared in a production of Parade at the New Hazlett Theater in Pittsburgh, performing alongside Carnegie Mellon classmates, and also took part in a production of Small Engine Repair at Barebone Productions. In August 2016, Cott played Moses in the premiere concert reading of Stephen Schwartz's The Prince of Egypt at the Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor, New York, appearing opposite Shuler Hensley and John Cariani.

On March 12, 2016, during his final year at Carnegie Mellon, Cott was cast as Kevin Keller in the CW drama series Riverdale, a television adaptation of the Archie Comics universe. Kevin Keller is notable as the first openly gay character in the history of Archie Comics. Cott has stated that he originally auditioned for the roles of Archie Andrews and Jughead Jones before being cast as Kevin. He was promoted to series regular beginning with the second season. In 2017, he also appeared in the music video for Sabrina Carpenter's song "Why."

In March 2019, Cott was announced as the titular character in a Kennedy Center production of The Who's Tommy, starring opposite Mandy Gonzalez and Christian Borle. That same year marked his Broadway debut, when he joined the cast of Moulin Rouge! The Musical at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre, playing the role of Christian. The announcement came on June 26, 2023, and he began performances on August 1 of that year.

Cott resides in New York City. He announced his engagement to Nichola Basara on December 19, 2020, and the two were married on December 18, 2021. Their first child, Cashius, was born on September 18, 2023.
