Carl Warren Reindel was an American actor born on January 20, 1935, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He died on September 4, 2009, from a heart attack in Valley Village, Los Angeles, at the age of 74.

Reindel's stage career brought him to Broadway between 1957 and 1962, where he appeared in three productions: Something About a Soldier, the comedy Moonbirds, and the drama The Dark at the Top of the Stairs. Press clippings, photographs, correspondence, scripts, programs, and production posters from his Broadway work are preserved in the Carl Reindel Papers at the Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee Theatre Research Institute at The Ohio State University Libraries.

His screen career included prominent roles in several major films. He portrayed Lieutenant Kenneth M. Taylor in the war film Tora! Tora! Tora!, played a character named Stanton in the Steve McQueen film Bullitt in 1968, and appeared as Lt. Comroe in the science fiction film The Andromeda Strain in 1971.

Reindel also made multiple appearances on television. He appeared twice on Perry Mason, first in 1964 as Barry Davis in the episode titled "The Case of the Drifting Dropout," and again in 1966 as Danny Bright in "The Case of the Golfer's Gambit." That same year he appeared on Gidget as Scott Baker in the series' twenty-fifth episode. He played a young cowboy named Cale on Gunsmoke, a role he reprised in the season eight premiere when the character faced suspicion of horse theft. Additional television credits include The F.B.I., Bonanza, The Virginian, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, and Wagon Train. Reindel left the entertainment industry in the early 1980s.
