Cameron Dallas

Cameron Alexander Dallas was born on September 8, 1994, in Whittier, California. An actor, singer, and social media personality, he built an early following through the video platforms Vine and YouTube, beginning in September 2012 with short clips featuring pranks on friends and family. By 2014, his Vine account had accumulated 8.1 million followers, ranking him eleventh among the platform's most-followed accounts, while his Twitter following reached 11.3 million. His Instagram audience grew to more than 20 million followers by 2017, at which point sponsored posts on the platform earned him approximately $17,000 each.

Dallas transitioned into film when AwesomenessTV CEO Brian Robbins announced a project built around him in April 2014. The resulting movie, Expelled, cast him as a prankster navigating the consequences of being removed from school and was released on December 12, 2014. The following year he appeared in The Outfield alongside Nash Grier and Caroline Sunshine, a film distributed through video on demand on November 10, 2015. He also appeared in two episodes of the NBC thriller series American Odyssey in May 2015. Dallas had been cast in Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, though his scenes were ultimately cut from the final film.

His music career began on April 20, 2015, with the release of his debut single "She Bad." He was subsequently featured on Daniel Skye's track "All I Want Is You." In June 2016, Dallas announced he would star in the Netflix reality series Chasing Cameron, which documented him on a singing tour of Europe and premiered on December 27, 2016. His first full-length album, Dear Scarlett, was released on September 8, 2020. Dallas received Teen Choice Awards in 2014, 2015, and 2016, and a People's Choice Award in 2017.

Dallas made his Broadway debut in 2020, taking on the role of Aaron Samuels in Mean Girls while the role's originator, Kyle Selig, was on a leave of absence. The production marked his entry into live theatrical performance following a career built primarily across film, television, and digital media. Dallas has described his ethnic background as half Scottish, one quarter Mexican, and one quarter German. On July 26, 2025, he and his girlfriend Madisyn Menchaca welcomed their first daughter, Indy Lee Dallas.
