Brittany Bradford

Brittany Bradford is an American actor and producer born and raised in Anaheim, California. Her work spans stage and screen, with notable credits in both Broadway productions and television series.

Bradford made her Broadway appearance in 2018 in Bernhardt/Hamlet. Her stage work also includes productions of Branden Jacobs-Jenkins' The Comeuppance and Alice Childress' Wedding Band: A Love/Hate Story in Black and White. In 2023, she received a Drama Desk Award nomination for Outstanding Lead Performance in a Play.

On television, Bradford gained significant recognition through her 2022 role in Julia, a series centered on television chef Julia Child. In the series, she portrays Alice Naman, a fictional associate producer at WGBH-TV who supports Child's cooking show. The character was inspired by Ruth Lockwood, the real-life producer behind The French Chef. Bradford has noted that placing a Black character in that role gave the writers the opportunity to examine the cultural and social dynamics of the 1960s. She has also appeared in The Watcher, Dead Ringers, Fire Country, Fear the Walking Dead, New Amsterdam, and The Gilded Age.
