Brennan Brown is an American actor born on November 23, 1968, in Los Angeles, California, with a career spanning film, television, and stage. He earned his MFA in acting from the Yale School of Drama and has maintained an active presence on Broadway and in screen productions since the early 1990s.

Brown's Broadway career ran from 1992 to 2001 and included appearances in Major Barbara and The Fifteen Minute Hamlet. At the Roundabout Theatre Company, he portrayed Snobby Price in Major Barbara. His stage work has extended well beyond Broadway, encompassing productions at several prominent New York theater companies. At the Atlantic Theatre, he appeared in Harold Pinter's Celebration and Ethan Coen's Offices. The National Actors Theatre featured him in Aeschylus' The Persians and Pirandello's Right You Are (If You Think You Are). Additional New York stage credits include The Second Man at the Keen Theatre and Asylum and Fair Night at Naked Angels. In 2002, he played David in Owen O'Neill's Absolution. At Yale Repertory Theatre, he took on the title role in Richard III and played Tomas in The Imaginary Invalid.

On television, Brown has taken on recurring roles across multiple series. He played Special Agent Nicholas Donnelly across two seasons of Person of Interest and portrayed Edward Biben over two seasons of Amazon's Mozart in the Jungle. His role as Robert Childan appeared in Amazon's The Man in the High Castle, and he currently plays Dr. Samuel Abrams on NBC's Chicago Med. He also portrayed Robert Treat Paine in HBO's John Adams. In the United Kingdom, he gained recognition playing Mr. Dresden, a film board executive, in Orange UK's long-running series of spoof cinema advertisements.

Brown's film credits include I Love You Phillip Morris with Jim Carrey, Focus opposite Will Smith and Margot Robbie, State of Play, and Turn the River. He has also contributed voice work to video games, including Manhunt 2 in 2007 and Red Dead Redemption in 2010.
