Blair Ross

Blair Ross is an American actress born on April 29, 1960, in Ridgewood, New Jersey. She attended Vassar College, where she majored in art history. Following graduation, Ross spent two years in Nashville before relocating to New York City to pursue her career.

Ross appeared on Broadway between 2001 and 2018, performing at venues including the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, the Marquis Theatre, and the St. James's Theatre. Her Broadway credits include 42nd Street, My Fair Ladies, Sideshow, and Jekyll & Hyde. In 42nd Street, she played the role of Dorothy Brock. The Star Tribune described her performance as "a zesty performance," while the Boston Herald characterized her portrayal as "a peroxided diva with a throaty belt and a haughty comic style." The Los Angeles Times reported that Ross loved playing the part and described her as "looking every bit the sultry vamp" in the production.

In the 2009 production of Being Audrey, Variety noted her presence in the ensemble cast, writing that she "does a nifty impersonation of Kay Thompson in Funny Face." The New York Times described her as "noxiously nasty" in her role as Auntie in Side Show.

Beyond Broadway, Ross toured in a production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, playing the role of Madame. The Los Angeles Times wrote that she "oozes pure avarice as the stepmother, known only as 'Madame,'" and the Washington Post noted that she does "the gargoyle thing very well" in the role.

Ross has also worked in television, with guest appearances on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Crafts & Burn, and Entrepreneur. She contributed voice work to the animated series Spy Groove and provided the voice of art and photography teacher Ms. Philips in the 2006 Rockstar Games video game Bully.
