Bianca Leigh

Bianca Leigh is an American actress and transgender woman originally from Willingboro, New Jersey. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting from Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of Arts in 1984.

Leigh's screen credits include the 2005 film Transamerica, in which she played Mary Ellen, and the 2016 comedy Hurricane Bianca, where she portrayed Karma Johnstone. She reprised that role in the sequel Hurricane Bianca: From Russia with Hate. She also appeared in Disclosure: Trans Lives on Screen, the documentary about transgender representation featuring Laverne Cox.

On stage, Leigh has worked with The Talking Band Theatre Company and performed in Taylor Mac's The Lily's Revenge. In 2011, she presented her one-woman show Busted at the Laurie Beechman Theatre in New York City.

Her Broadway career spans 2018 to 2024. She served as a stand-in for the 2018 Broadway production of The Nap, written by Richard Bean. Beginning in July 2024, Leigh played Louise in Cole Escola's play Oh, Mary! on Broadway, a run that extended through August 2025. She had previously performed the same role during the production's off-Broadway engagement.
