Bernard Grant was an American actor born on October 10, 1920, in the Bronx, New York City. He died on June 30, 2004. Grant attended the City College of New York and served in the United States Army during World War II.
Grant appeared on Broadway in 1927 in the play Venus. Beyond the stage, he built a career in television, with recurring work in soap operas including The Guiding Light and One Life to Live.
Grant was also active as a dubbing actor, providing the regular English voice for Italian film stars Marcello Mastroianni and Gian Maria Volonté. His dubbing work for Volonté included the films A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, Bandits in Milan, and A Bullet for the General. He additionally dubbed the character Captain Clinton, played by Aldo Giuffrè, in The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, and voiced the character Valmont, played by Adolfo Celi, in Danger: Diabolik.
