Ben Feldman

Ben Feldman is an American actor born on May 27, 1980, in Washington, D.C., who grew up in the Chevy Chase neighborhood of the district. His mother, Marcia Muir Mitchell, is a writer, and his father, Robert Feldman, operates a Maryland advertising agency. His stepmother, Kris Feldman, works as a realtor, and his stepmother's sister, Susan Feniger, is a chef based in Los Angeles. Feldman has a sister, Morgan Leiter, who works in fashion. Raised in a Jewish family, he attended both Conservative and Orthodox Jewish synagogues and schools.

Feldman's involvement in acting began at age six through acting camp and school theater. He attended Winston Churchill High School in Potomac, Maryland, graduating with the class of 1998, and subsequently enrolled at Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting. He also worked for several summers in Bethesda as a camp counselor in theater and taught a videography class. After completing his degree, he relocated to New York City, where he performed on Broadway in 2002 in The Graduate before eventually moving to Los Angeles to pursue film and television work.

His early television work included a one-season role as Josh Reeves in the series Living with Fran in 2005, the same year he appeared in the film The Perfect Man. From 2009 to 2011, Feldman was a series regular on Drop Dead Diva, playing guardian angel Fred before departing at the start of the fourth season. In April 2012, he joined the cast of AMC's Mad Men as Michael Ginsberg, a role he held through 2014 that earned him a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. Concurrently, he appeared as attorney Ron LaFlamme on HBO's Silicon Valley from 2014 to 2019.

From 2015 to 2021, Feldman starred as Jonah Simms in the NBC sitcom Superstore, also serving as a producer on the series from 2019 to 2021. In 2021, he began voicing Tylor Tuskmon in Disney's animated series Monsters at Work. In 2024, he received a Logie Award nomination for his work on the Stan Australia series Population 11.

Outside of performing, Feldman is a co-owner of a wine label called Angelica Cellars. He became engaged to Michelle Mulitz in 2012 and married her on October 12, 2013, at Smokey Glen Farm in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The couple have two children, a son born in 2017 and a daughter born in 2019. Feldman resides in Los Angeles.
