About

Baylee Thomas Wylee Littrell, born on November 26, 2002, in Atlanta, Georgia, is an American performer and country singer. He is the son of Backstreet Boys member Brian Littrell and model and actress Leighanne Wallace, and is an only child. The family later relocated from Atlanta to the Upper West Side of Manhattan during his Broadway tenure, and Littrell currently resides in Alpharetta, Georgia, with his parents.

Littrell's early exposure to performance came at age two, when he accompanied his father on the Never Gone Tour. His more deliberate pursuit of the arts began around first grade, when he attended summer camps focused on band, theater, and acting. By ages six or seven he was composing short poems that developed into songs, and his piano teacher first heard him sing at age six. At age eight, a skit performed with his cousin and participation in a band solidified his desire to pursue a career as a performer. He subsequently took lessons in acting, singing, and piano, and received guitar instruction from his father. Brian Littrell has served as his musical director, while his mother has acted as his manager. Around age nine, Littrell began opening arena shows for his father and the Backstreet Boys worldwide, typically performing two songs per appearance. He was homeschooled from around ages seven or eight, which allowed him to advance a grade level while traveling.

At thirteen, Littrell made his Broadway debut in the musical Disaster!, playing the twins Ben and Lisa. The production opened at the Nederlander Theatre, with his debut performance on March 8, 2016. His work in the show earned him a Drama Desk Award nomination for Outstanding Featured Actor in a Musical in 2016.

Following his Broadway run, Littrell shifted his focus to country music, citing Florida Georgia Line as a key influence alongside Tim McGraw, George Strait, and Johnny Cash. On April 3, 2019, the Backstreet Boys announced him as an opening act for the North American leg of their DNA World Tour, which ran from July 12, 2019, at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., through September 2019. Beginning October 31, 2019, he joined country artist Chris Lane for performances on Lane's Big Big Plans tour, with stops in Cincinnati, Ohio; Louisville, Kentucky; and Atlanta.

On November 15, 2019, Littrell released his debut album, 770-Country, through BriLeigh Records. The album features songwriting and production contributions from Gary Baker, Corey Crowder, Seth Ennis, Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line, Steven Lee Olsen, Daniel Ross, and Littrell himself. Tracks on the record include "Boxes," "Don't Knock It," and "We Run This Beach." On September 9, 2022, he released his first EP, EP Vol. One, and in May 2022 he announced that work on a second album was underway.

In March 2025, Littrell appeared on American Idol and received a golden ticket to Hollywood. During his appearance, he and his father performed a brief duet on the program. Outside of music, Littrell participated in Little League baseball, basketball, karate, lacrosse, football, and soccer during his childhood. At age six he was diagnosed with Kawasaki syndrome, a condition involving swollen blood vessels around the heart. On June 26, 2022, he lost his maternal grandmother to a heart condition, and has noted her as a significant personal influence.
