Barry Mitterhoff, born September 16, 1952, is an American mandolinist and musician whose career has spanned stage, recording, and film work. He has been a member of several musical groups, including Skyline, Silk City, Bottle Hill, and Hot Tuna. Mitterhoff also performed alongside Peter Rowan, Tex Logan, and Lamar Greer as part of the ensemble known as The Green Grass Gringos.

In addition to his work as a performing musician, Mitterhoff has contributed to film soundtracks as a score producer. His credits in this area include the soundtrack for the 1998 film You've Got Mail. He also worked on material connected to O Brother, Where Art Thou?, though his contributions were not included in the film's released soundtrack.
