Barrett Doss

Barrett Doss is an American actress and singer born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After her parents divorced during her childhood, she lived with her mother, Kelly Skalicky, and her mother's partner, Veronica, who shared in raising her. The family resided in Albuquerque, New Mexico, for two years before settling in Chicago, and Doss eventually relocated to New York City. There she attended the Professional Children's School in Manhattan and later enrolled at New York University's Gallatin School of Individualized Study.

Doss began her performing career on off-Broadway and regional stages before making her television debut in 2013 in an episode of the NBC comedy series 30 Rock. She subsequently appeared in episodes of Person of Interest, Bull, and Girls.

Her Broadway debut came in 2014 in the comedic play You Can't Take It with You, where she performed opposite James Earl Jones and Rose Byrne. In 2017, she returned to Broadway to star as Rita Hanson, the female lead, in the musical comedy Groundhog Day, appearing opposite Andy Karl. That performance earned her a 2017 Theatre World Award for Outstanding Broadway Debut Performance.

Also in 2017, Doss took on a recurring role in the Netflix superhero series Iron Fist and made her film debut in a supporting capacity in the biographical drama Marshall, starring Chadwick Boseman. Later that year she was cast as a series regular on the ABC action drama Station 19, a spin-off of Grey's Anatomy, in which she plays Victoria Hughes. The series premiered in 2018. Beginning in 2019, Doss also appeared on a recurring basis in the sixteenth season of Grey's Anatomy.
