Bailey Ryon is an American actress born on May 20, 2002, in Southern Pennsylvania. She made her Broadway debut in 2013 as one of four actresses sharing the title role in Matilda the Musical, joining Milly Shapiro, Oona Laurence, and Sophia Gennusa in originating the part. Ryon performed in the production from March 2013 through January 11, 2014.

Prior to her Broadway debut, Ryon appeared in the touring production of How the Grinch Stole Christmas, in which she played Cindy Lou Who. Her work in Matilda the Musical earned her a Tony Honor for Excellence in Theatre in 2013, an award she shared with her fellow Matildas. The Original Broadway Cast recording of Matilda the Musical received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Musical Theater Album, with Ryon credited as a principal soloist alongside Bertie Carvel, Sophia Gennusa, Oona Laurence, Milly Shapiro, and Lauren Ward.

Ryon graduated from Susquehannock High School in 2020 and subsequently enrolled in the Musical Theatre program at James Madison University, where her roles included Dot/Marie in Sunday in the Park with George and Liz/Roxie understudy in Chicago.

Her Broadway career continued beyond Matilda, with Ryon appearing in Beaches, A New Musical and Kimberly Akimbo, extending her stage work through 2026.
