Anne Kerry Ford

Anne Kerry Ford, born June 8, 1958, is an American actress and cabaret singer whose career has spanned Broadway, film, and recording. A native of Texas, she began her training at the Academy of the Washington Ballet before being accepted into the Juilliard School of Drama at age 16. She graduated from Juilliard at 20 and subsequently built a foundation in classical theatre before transitioning to Broadway.

Ford made her Broadway debut in the role of Grace Farrell in Annie, launching a stage career that extended from 1977 to 1989. Her Broadway credits also include Frankenstein and a 1989 production of The Threepenny Opera, in which she appeared alongside Sting. Outside of Broadway, she starred with Amanda McBroom in Harry Chapin: Lies and Legends in Chicago and was featured on that production's cast album. She also created the role of Margaret in the musical Jekyll & Hyde, performing opposite John Cullum.

Her film work includes a role as Dudley Moore's wife in Marshall Brickman's Lovesick, as well as appearances in Clean and Sober and Peter Weir's Fearless. Ford has also pursued a recording career, releasing her first solo CD, In the Nest of the Moon, produced by her then-husband, guitarist Robben Ford. A second album, Something's Coming, followed in 1998. Her original performance piece Weill, based on the songs of Kurt Weill, was recorded in Germany at Cologne's Philharmonic Hall by WDR's Big Band.
