Amy Rutberg

Amy Lauren Ruth Rutberg is an American actress born on November 11, 1981, in Los Angeles. She developed an interest in acting at a young age after attending a production of Peter Pan, an experience that left such an impression on her that she had to be carried away screaming, convinced that Peter would return to take her to Neverland. She later attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where she studied subjects including law alongside her pursuit of performance. Shortly before her seventeenth birthday, she signed with an agent and began working professionally as an actress.

Rutberg made her Broadway debut in 1999 in The Civil War. She also performed in the a cappella musical comedy Perfect Harmony at the Clurman Theatre in New York City. Her television work includes guest appearances on Blindspot, NCIS: New Orleans, The Blacklist, Elementary, and Taken.

In 2015, Rutberg joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe series Daredevil, portraying Marci Stahl, the girlfriend of Foggy Nelson. The role was originally written for a single episode, but Stahl became a recurring character throughout the full run of the series, which aired from 2015 to 2018. Rutberg reprised the role in the crossover series The Defenders in 2017. In 2018, she was cast in ABC's television reboot of the Blaxploitation series Get Christie Love!, though the network ultimately chose not to order the pilot to series.

Rutberg has appeared on the reality series Say Yes to the Dress, specifically in season six, episode eleven. She is married and has one child.
