Amanda Kloots

Amanda Kloots is an American dancer, actress, fitness instructor, and television personality born on March 19, 1982, in Canton, Ohio. The second youngest of five children, she grew up in Plain Township, Stark County, where she attended GlenOak High School before pursuing a career in performance.

Kloots built her early career on Broadway, where she appeared in productions between 2002 and 2014. Her stage credits include Young Frankenstein, Good Vibrations, Spamalot, 42nd Street, Follies, and Bullets Over Broadway. She performed as an ensemble member across these productions and was also a member of the Rockettes dance company.

Beyond the stage, Kloots expanded into television and digital media. In 2020, she launched a fitness brand centered on exercise videos and made guest appearances as a co-host on the CBS daytime talk show The Talk. She joined the program as a permanent co-host in January 2021, a role she held until 2024. That same year, she competed on season 30 of Dancing with the Stars, finishing in fourth place. In June 2021, she published a memoir titled Live Your Life, co-authored with her sister.

Kloots was previously married to actor David Larsen for six years. She met actor Nick Cordero while both were working on Bullets Over Broadway, and the two married in 2017. Their son was born on June 10, 2019. Cordero died in July 2020 from complications related to COVID-19, and Kloots drew widespread attention for publicly documenting his illness and death on Instagram. She currently resides in Los Angeles.
