Ali Ahn

Ali Ahn is an American actress born in 1980 or 1981. She grew up in Pasadena, California, and is of Korean descent. Ahn graduated from Polytechnic School in Pasadena in 1999, then attended Yale University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in dance and theater magna cum laude in 2003. She subsequently received an MFA in acting from the California Institute of the Arts in 2006.

Ahn made her Broadway debut in February 2015 in a revival of The Heidi Chronicles, which ran through May of that year opposite Elisabeth Moss. Her New York stage work also includes off-Broadway credits, among them Rajiv Joseph's Letters of Suresh, in which she starred at the Tony Kiser Theater from September through October 2021. She and actor William Jackson Harper, with whom she is in a relationship, previously appeared together in an outdoor New York production of Romeo + Juliet in 2012.

On television, Ahn appeared in recurring roles on Billions from 2016 to 2018 and on Orange Is the New Black in 2018. She played biotechnology company CEO Suzanne Wu on the Netflix series Raising Dion, a role that began in 2019 and was elevated to series regular in the show's second season, which ran through 2022. Ahn took on another leading television role in the Netflix drama series The Diplomat, beginning in 2023, portraying CIA station chief Eidra Park. In 2024, she joined the Disney+ Marvel Cinematic Universe series Agatha All Along, starring as Alice Wu-Gulliver.
