Alex Price

Alex Price is a British actor born on 8 May 1985 in Manchester, England. He is married and has a son, born in 2011, and a younger sister.

Price has built a substantial career across stage, television, and film. His theatre work spans productions at prominent venues, including Is Everyone OK? for the Nabokov Touring Project, Colourings at the Old Red Lion, The Duchess of Malfi at the National Theatre Studio, and Birdland at the Royal Court Theatre.

On television, Price has appeared in Being Human, Merlin, and Doctor Who. From 2013 to 2022, he portrayed Sid Carter, one of the central characters in the long-running series Father Brown. His performance as Proteus in Penny Dreadful drew critical praise. He also appeared in The Capture, a BBC drama centered on deep fake technology.

In addition to his television work, Price has appeared in the feature film A Horse with No Name as well as a number of short films.

In 2016, Price was cast as Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the stage production based on J.K. Rowling's wizarding world. He brought the role to Broadway in 2018, marking his debut on the New York stage.
