Alex Breaux

Alex Breaux is an American actor working in film, stage, and television, born in Richmond, Virginia around 1985 or 1986. He attended Campolindo High School in Moraga, California, completed a postgraduate year at Phillips Exeter Academy, and went on to study economics at Harvard University.

Breaux launched his stage career in 2014 with a role in The Real Thing on Broadway, where he played the character Brodie. His Broadway work continued through 2025, and his stage credits also include the New York Theatre Workshop production of Red Speedo, in which he portrayed Olympic swimmer Ray, as well as the Phoenix Theatre production of Stranger Things: The First Shadow, where he played Dr. Martin Brenner. The First Shadow is also listed among his verified Broadway credits.

His screen career began in 2016 with appearances in the films Josephine and Katie Says Goodbye, as well as a role in the CBS legal drama Bull. Subsequent film work includes Depraved, Minor Premise, Bushwick, Trick, and Foxhole. On television, Breaux guest-starred in Waco: The Aftermath, playing domestic terrorist Timothy McVeigh, as well as in The Blacklist, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, The Equalizer, Joe Pickett, and Blue Bloods. He appeared as Dax in the second season of the Apple TV+ science fiction series See and took on the recurring role of Lieutenant Robert Akers in the final season of the Netflix mystery series Stranger Things, the role for which he is perhaps most widely recognized.
