Alba Solís, born Ángela Herminia Lamberti on 18 October 1927 in the Floresta neighborhood of Buenos Aires, was an Argentine singer, actress, and vedette. She was the daughter of Italian parents, Oreste Juan Guillermo Lamberti and Herminia Trapanese. Her approach to tango was characterized by a dramatic vocal style. She died on 3 February 2016.
Solís built a career in Argentine film spanning several decades, with screen appearances beginning in the early 1950s. Her film credits include Escándalo nocturno (1951), De turno con la muerte (1951), Maleficio (1953), Estrellas de Buenos Aires (1956), Luna Park (1960), La cigarra está que arde (1967), and Carne (1968).
Her career extended to Broadway, where she performed between 1985 and 1999. Her Broadway credits include Tango Argentino.
