Alan Blumenfeld is an American character actor born on September 4, 1952, in Rockville Center, New York. He began performing at the age of seven and has built a career spanning theater, film, television, and voice acting across several decades.

Blumenfeld's Broadway work includes an appearance in Laughter on the 23rd Floor, with his Broadway activity documented between 1993 and 1995. He has remained active in theater throughout his career and currently resides in Los Angeles, where he also teaches acting at Pomona College in Claremont, California.

On television, Blumenfeld is perhaps most recognized for portraying Maury Parkman, the telepathic father of Matt Parkman, in the NBC series Heroes. Matt Parkman was played by Greg Grunberg, and Blumenfeld had previously played Grunberg's father in the series Felicity as well. He also appeared as Bob Buss in the television film 2gether. His other television credits include Grey's Anatomy, JAG, Gilmore Girls, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Without a Trace, and Judging Amy.

His film work includes The Ring, In Her Shoes, and Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives. In voice acting, Blumenfeld provided the voice of Glottis in the video game Grim Fandango and Boyd Cooper in Psychonauts. Additional video game credits include roles in Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, Daxter, SpyHunter: Nowhere to Run, The Darkness II, and Fallout 4, in which he voiced characters including Skinny Malone, Clarence Codman, and Evan Watson.
