Aaron Lohr is an American actor born on April 2, 1976, in Los Angeles, California. He studied theater at UCLA, where he earned his degree before pursuing a professional career in performance.

Lohr built an early profile through his association with Disney Studios, appearing in productions including the Mighty Ducks film series and Newsies. He provided the singing voice for the character Max Goof in A Goofy Movie, stepping in for Jason Marsden in that capacity. His screen work extended to television, where he appeared in multiple episodes of Sister, Sister, becoming recognizable to audiences in the recurring role of Marlon. Additional early credits include portraying the Dancing Boy in Deniece Williams' music video for "Let's Hear It for the Boy" and appearing in a British television advertisement for Carlsberg Beer. In 2000, Lohr took on the role of Micky Dolenz in the VH1 television film Daydream Believers: The Monkees' Story.

On Broadway, Lohr appeared in The Full Monty in 2002. His theater work continued Off-Broadway in 2004, when he performed the role of Matt in Bare: A Pop Opera. He made his debut at the New York Public Theater in 2003 in George Wolfe's Radiant Baby, which led to his starring role in Michael John LaChiusa's See What I Wanna See, performed opposite Idina Menzel. Lohr also starred in the political drama In Darfur, which ran at both the New York Public Theater and the Delacorte Theater.

In 2005, Lohr appeared in the film adaptation of the Broadway musical Rent, directed by Chris Columbus, playing the character Steve and contributing vocals to the songs "Will I" and "Life Support" on the film's soundtrack. His independent film credits include Henry Bean's Noise, The Wreck, and Manslaughter, the latter two produced by Jim Koya Jones.

In his personal life, Lohr and Idina Menzel purchased a home in Encino, Los Angeles in August 2015. Menzel announced their engagement on September 23, 2016, via Twitter, and the two were married over the weekend of September 22, 2017. Lohr is the stepfather to Menzel's son from her previous marriage to Taye Diggs. Following his acting career, Lohr transitioned out of the entertainment industry and serves as the Clinical Director at the Avalon Malibu rehabilitation center.
